WILD ASIA FESTIVAL — Where Asia’s Wild World Comes Together
Asia holds more biodiversity than any other continent on earth. It is home to some of the planet’s most ecologically significant habitats from the Himalayan river systems of Nepal to the rainforests of Borneo, the coral triangle of the Philippines, and the ancient wilderness of Sri Lanka. It is also home to the communities, creators, professionals, explorers, storytellers, protectors, eco-preneurs, and enthusiasts who have dedicated their lives to those places.
WILD ASIA FESTIVAL exists to bring them together.
What It Is
WILD ASIA FESTIVAL is the annual celebration of the wild world across Asia. Each edition is hosted in a different Asian country, spotlighting that nation’s wildlife, nature, ocean life, conservation stories, and wild community through storytelling, performance, creative expression, and ecosystem celebration.
This is not a trade fair. It is not a conference. It is a nature-focused event — rooted in the wild identity of its host nation, designed to be felt, not just attended. Each edition brings together creators, professionals, explorers, protectors, brands, and organisations from across Asia and beyond under one hosted nation. The programme combines a wild and adventure travel fair, exhibitions, activities, talk shows, and much more — all connected by one shared purpose.
How It Works
Each year, one Asian country becomes the centre of the wild world’s attention. The local wildlife community, conservation organisations, creative storytellers, photographers, filmmakers, and nature professionals take the stage not as exhibitors, but as the main event. Their stories, their ecosystems, and their work are what the festival is built around.
WILD ASIA FESTIVAL is community-facing by design. It is where the broader AWPC WILDHUB audience — enthusiasts, explorers, creators, and protectors engage with the wild world at a cultural level. Where the ecosystem becomes visible, tangible, and real.
Its Role in the AWPC WILDHUB Ecosystem
WILD ASIA FESTIVAL sits within the AWPC WILDHUB Events architecture alongside WILD GATHERING and WILD ONE. Each event serves a different purpose within the physical layer of the ecosystem.
WILD ASIA FESTIVAL is the celebration. It is the moment that says: this community is real, it spans a continent, and what it stands for is worth gathering around. It grows AWPC WILDHUB’s presence and credibility across Asia not through advertising, but through demonstrated presence in the countries and communities that matter most to the wild world.
Why It Moves
The decision to host WILD ASIA FESTIVAL in a different Asian country each year is structural, not logistical. Every host nation has its own wild identity — its own flagship species, its own conservation challenges, its own community of creators and professionals who rarely get the platform their work deserves. Moving the festival means no single market owns it. Every corner of Asia eventually gets its moment.
It also builds the AWPC WILDHUB network at a regional level in a way that no digital platform can replicate. A festival in Nepal builds different relationships than one in the Philippines or Bhutan. The physical presence compounds.
Who Attends
WILD ASIA FESTIVAL is open to the full AWPC WILDHUB community — nature creators, wild professionals, explorers, enthusiasts, conservationists, brands, and organisations. WILDHUB Premium members receive priority access to ticketing and exclusive festival experiences before public availability.
