The Gentle Giants Project: Protecting Asia’s Wildlife & Ocean Life
Introduced by AWPC WILD HUB, the Gentle Giants Project is our flagship conservation initiative, beginning in January 2026. Dedicated to safeguarding Asia’s extraordinary biodiversity, this project bridges land and ocean conservation with a powerful focus on two iconic species, the Asian Elephant and the Blue Whale.
These gentle giants are not only symbols of strength and resilience, but also guardians of entire ecosystems. By protecting them, we also safeguard countless other species large and small that share their habitats. The elephant and the whale represent the vast tapestry of life across Asia, but the project extends far beyond them, embracing the interconnected web of nature.
A Vision for 2026 and Beyond
“We plan to launch this project in early 2026, focusing on wildlife and ocean conservation across Asia. Our current work is building the foundation for the next 12 to 36 months.”
